Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for coming to the event 'Called to Prayer' we raised £1,700 for children from Syria. I just wanted to let you know of some other events that I perform and co-ordinate myself.

Thomas Kingsley Jones, my manager, and I have organised four events that will be taking place in November.

The next one is on Saturday 6th December at 7pm in the gorgeous lattice-windowed ballet room of the Parish House, St Mary of the Angels, Moorhouse Road, Bayswater, W2 5DJ, where you will get wine, a show and a unique collection of amazing people to chat to over drinks, for the price of only £15. There will be no ballerinas unless you bring one.

Whether or not that makes anything clearer, we’d LOVE to see you. And because my wonderful new manager is very assertive he’s suggesting that we invite you to sign up on Eventbrite so we can crack open the right number of bottles and have a great night. There are only 40 places, because we’d like you all to meet each other too.

The other good thing is that on Mondays we’re going to be holding some ‘creativity to contemplation workshops’, with a different theme each month, to help participants who’ve been inspired or motivated by the poems and stories to explore their own type of creative life in a new way, in the light of the season.

The December workshops are called: INCARNATION – Who are we now? The January workshops are called EPIPHANY – Now we enter in..

The workshops will run from 7pm to 9pm and will involve a performance and then creative and contemplative exercises that flow from the show… They will also cost £15.
Dates for these workshops will be confirmed by email.

So whether you’ve seen any of the shows before, or not, we can guarantee that the mix of poems and people will be a wonderful and unique one… and we are so looking forward to the First Night!

And you will also get to meet my manager. Believe me. It’s worth it. “I just so ENJOYED it. i was sitting there thinking that there was nowhere else i would rather be (and London does provide a fair few options!!!), than listening and learning and identifying and laughing. so many gems that my notebook couldn't keep up! there is no ceiling to where your God-given talent could go. fly on sister.” Blessings'
