Pope Francis will be reducing his public activities over the summer months, the Vatican has announced. There will be no General Audiences on the following Wednesdays in August: 7, 14, 21 and 28. The weekly General Audiences with Pope Francis will resume on Wednesday 4 September.
On Sundays during the month of August, Pope Francis will preside at the Angelus prayer in the Vatican. On the Feast of the Assumption on 15 August, the Holy Father will celebrate Holy Mass in the Parish of Castel Gandolfo and later recite the Angelus prayer with the faithful at the papal summer residence in the Roman hill town.
