Interfaith Day at Roehampton University
'Building Bridges, Women Peacemakers across the Religious Divide' is the theme of this year's Interfaith - Intercultural Day at Roehampton University which takes place on Wednesday, 25 April.
There will be talks, a panel discussion, music from the Righteous Roe Gospel Choir, dance, a film screening with Q&A afterwards, stalls, food and refreshments.
Humanities subject co-ordinator Mike Castelli will introduce speakers Sharon Alsoodani and Carolyn Hayman. Dr Henna Khan, Debbie Danon, Jean Kelly and Karen Costa will join a panel discussion chaired by Joanna Campbell. There will be Buddhist meditation led by Indaka Weerasekera.
The Bishop of Kingston, Rt Rev Richard Cheetham will be summarising the day.
At 5.15pm - there will be a screening of the film: ‘Praying the Devil back into Hell’ with Q&A session lead by Gina Fuller.
The day begins at 12.30pm in the Duchesne Building Ground Floor, at Roehampton University.
