Why no meat on Fridays?

Why are the Catholics in England and Wales being told they must not eat meat on a Friday or it is a sin? This is not the case in Scotland or Ireland.

Why are you dividing the Catholic Church we are always united that is how we survive. I totally disagree with this new ruling. We should have a choice as they do in the rest of UK.

How can it suddenly be a sin? You done away with no meat rule years ago I remember it well, so how can you create this nonsense and divide our practicing of the faith?

Sometimes it is hard to be a Catholic we do our best love God keep his commandments so I feel this new rule is nonsense.
