Women in church leadership – What’s the difference?
Dr Tina Beattie, Professor of Catholic Studies and Director of the Digby Stuart Research Centre for Catholic Studies at Roehampton University in London will be leading a discussion on the role of women in the Church at St Bart's Church Community Centre in Barking, east London, on Wednesday, 27 October.
Dr Beattie works extensively with different pastoral and educational groups, and she is a regular contributor to the Catholic weekly, The Tablet, and to radio and television. Her latest book was The New Atheists: The Twilight of Reason and the War on Religion, published by Darton, Longman & Todd.
