Pope donates Vatican experience to charity auction
Pope Benedict XVI has donated a year-long membership for a family of four to attend Papal Mass in Rome, with VIP seating and a private tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, to an auction raising funds for a human right charity, the European branch of the Robert F Kennedy Centre for Justice and Human Rights.
The RFK Foundation of Europe, in partnership with charitybuzz, launched the charity auction on June 23, offering a line-up of coveted experiences donated by Italian arts, entertainment and cultural leaders, to raise funds for vital human rights work.
Charitybuzz raises funds for nonprofits around the globe through online auctions, giving its bidders exclusive opportunities to make a difference.
Bidding is open until tomorrow night at: www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/114101
