Westminster: Ten Ten Theatre presents Degree of Change

Ten Ten Theatre presents Degree of Change at Westminster Cathedral Hall on Wednesday, 11 November.

The play is a powerful and thought-provoking story about a group of sixth formers from the UK who are confronted with a tragedy on a volunteer trip to Kenya. Returning home, they are faced with their own personal conflicts, a motivation to take political action and a deep challenge to the foundations of their faith.

Performed by Ashley Ferguson, Prue Gillett, James Lewis, Joe MacCabe and Erika Sanderson, the show is written and directed by Martin O'Brien.

John Battle MP described the play as: "A powerful and moving drama which brings to light the issue of climate justice. It is brought to life by Ten Ten Theatre in a contemporary, humorous and deeply affecting way. It changes the emissions numbers to a personal experience of tragedy."

Ten Ten Theatre is a national professional theatre company with an underlying Catholic ethos. DEGREES OF CHANGE was commissioned by CAFOD in 2008 and it has been updated ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December 2009. It is being performed in Westminster in association with the Young Friends of Westminster Cathedral on Wednesday 11 November at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm). Tickets are £5.
