Chill out church
An Edinburgh church will turn itself into a spiritual chill-out zone this weekend, to give frazzled festival-goers somewhere to recover their energy. St John's Episcopal Church on Princes Street in the city, will open its doors for 'Sacred Space' sessions tomorrow, Saturday and for the next seven nights between 9.30pm and 10.30pm. The move, which is part of a week long 'Festival of Spirituality' at the city centre was the idea of St John's associate rector the Rev John McLuckie. "People get so overloaded at the festival. The idea is to give people some space and some relaxation in the middle of all the frantic festival events".
