New book of cartoons on life of Jesus

A book of cartoons depicting the life of Jesus is being launched later this month.

'Jesus, Son of God, Son of Mary - The Life of Jesus in Words and Pictures' with text by the late John Medcalf will be available on nine CD ROMs and is being released in stages over the next three to four years.

Each part forms a natural grouping of gospel stories and is ideal for use in parish newsletters, university chaplaincy groups, prisons, youth service, children's liturgy, schools, with the housebound or those hard-of-hearing.

The series will be launched on Saturday 26 June at 5pm at St John the Evangelist Church, Horsham, Sussex. There will be details about the project and a dramatisation by various groups.
