Seminarian on 2,000km trek for children who can't walk
On 2 May, Gareth Thomas set out from Worcester cathedral to walk the 2,000km pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela and raise funds for Whizz-Kidz, a charity which provides wheelchairs and and other support for children with disabilties. A former teacher in the Archbishop's School, Canterbury, Gareth begins formation for the priesthood for Southwark Diocese, at the Pontifical Beda College, Rome, this September.
