Pope suffers relapse


The Holy Father was returning to the Gemelli Hospital this morning, after suffering a relapse of his his flu condition - Vatican officials announced around 11am. The Pope spent ten days in hospital earlier this month after he develop severe breathing problems related to the flu. He returned home on 10 February. Before this morning's announcement he seemed to have made a good recovery, appearing twice at the window of his study at the Vatican to greet pilgrims. But his health has been steadily deteriorating over recent years. He suffers with Parkinson's Disease and arthritis. Source: VIS
