London: evening of carols with a difference

 St James's Church, Piccadilly plays host to an evening of traditional carols with untraditional lyrics, interspersed with poetry and prose readings, to highlight the current reality in the Holy Land next Wednesday, 26 November.

Bethlehem Now: Nine Alternative Lessons and Carols for Palestine starts at 7.30pm. Special guests include Bruce Kent, Vice President of Pax Christi, who will give one of the readings. .

Proceeds will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians, Open Bethlehem and Palestinian Christmas gifts, including Zaytoun olive oil, will be on sale after the performance.
