Play: Inigo returns for second London run
Following the sell-out run to rapturous audiences in February, Inigo - a new play on the life of St Ignatius Loyola by Jonathan Moore returns by popular demand. to Pleasance Theatre in Islington. Fayez Bakhsh will be repeating his acclaimed performance in the title role. He will be joined by two other members of the original cast plus five new cast members.
As well as being a parishioner at Farm St Church, Moore is a theatre and opera director and writer with many credits in theatres around the world.
The premiere of Iñigo sold out very quickly at the White Bear Theatre so this is a great opportunity for all those who couldn't get a ticket to see it and for those who wanted to see it again but couldn't get in. It is only a limited run, from 25 May, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Since his first retreat at St Beuno's back in the 1980s Moore has been deeply influenced by Ignatian spirituality and fascinated by St Ignatius himself. He was encouraged to write the play by Fr Billy Hewett SJ, and has received regular support from him and other Jesuits over the last four years. The result is a very carefully researched life story which tenderly explores the deeper recesses of St Ignatius' spiritual journey.
