Zimbabwe: National Day of Prayer for Peace

On a warm Spring morning, today, 12 October 2013, Catholics from all over Harare, Zimbabwe, gathered in the Harare Gardens, with many other Christian groups, to take part in a day of prayers for national peace. Jesuits Communications Zimbabwe write on their Facebook group page:

They prayed for our land.
They prayed for good and righteous citizens.
BUT above all they prayed for our political leaders...
