London: exhibition of modern icons
The British Association of Iconographers are celebrating their tenth anniversary this week with Icons Today, an exhibition of more than 130 icons, at St Saviour's Church, St. George's Square, London SW1V 3QW from 25-27 October inclusive.
Achbishop Gregorios of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain opened the exhibition this morning. The icons are the works of Orthodox, Catholic and Anglican members from the Association and include several icons painted by children.
