Ask Cameron to keep his climate pledge

David Cameron

David Cameron

Last year, UK Prime Minister David Cameron promised that his would be the greenest government ever. Now a crucial government meeting next Monday, 16 May 2011, threatens to undermine the UK Climate Change Act. This would be a disaster for the world's poor, who are already suffering from the effects of climate change.

The government meeting coincides with a new Christian Aid Week report, which shows that 24 million more children under five will be malnourished in 2050 as a consequence of a changing climate.
