Cardinal supporter will boycott 'Windsor Castle'

I cannot believe that the owners of the Cardinal pub would consider changing the name. It sounds like professional suicide - given the great support being shown by so many people from all walks of life. I hope this decision was just a mistake - the idea of someone who does not know 'the patch'.

I have been visiting the Cardinal for many years as my office is nearby. I for one will certainly not be visiting again if it does not keep the name the Cardinal.

I hope that when they realise how customers feel - they will change their minds.
