Relics of Blessed John Henry Newman to visit Ealing Abbey

Blessed John Henry Newman

The Relics of Blessed John Henry Newman, which were present at his Beatification Mass, will be visiting Ealing Abbey, Church of St Benedict, Charlbury Grove, Ealing west London,  on Tuesday, 18 January - the first day in the Octave of Prayer for Christian Unity.

A Special Solemn Latin Vespers will take place at 5.15 pm followed by Mass and then the opportunity to venerate the Relics.

Buffet supper in the parish centre will follow. At 8pm there will be a talk by Fr Richard Duffield, Provost of the Birmingham Oratory entitled: 'The Spirituality of John Henry Newman'
