Romany refugee group wants volunteers


A support group for Romany refugees from Eastern Europe is appealing for volunteers. The organisation, which is supported by church groups and local authorities, currently runs two centres - one in West London, in the borough of Fulham and Hammersmith and one in East London in the borough of Newham. Both centres offers advice and information to refugees; interpreting services; guidance for families with children who need to go to school; language classes; nursery and play facilities.
