Events across UK remember Hiroshima

 Hundreds of church services and memorial events will be taking place around the UK tomorrow, 6 August, to mark the 57th anniversary of the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. (Nagasaki was three days later). A special memorial services will be held at Aylesford Priory in Kent. A day-long street vigil and Mass will take place at Westminster Cathedral in London. In Chester the day will be remembered with an annual flower festival . An inter-faith witness for peace will be held at Preston Peace Gardens in Lancashire.
