Christmas message from the Bishop of Portsmouth
We celebrate Christmas this year under the threatening clouds of a possible war in the Middle East. More than ever, therefore, we turn to the Prince of Peace to implore Him to fill our lives with His blessings. 'We are a people that so often walks in darkness and yet, all around us there are signs of hope and the promise of a better world. 'My prayers and my greetings are that we may all be touched by the light of Christ this Christmas. 'Glory to God in the highest and peace to all people on earth.'
