Hiroshima and Nagasaki remembered

 Prayers and vigils are being organised around the UK by Pax Christi, CND and Christian CND today, and Saturday 9 August, to commemorate the 58th anniversary of the tragic events at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. At Westminster Cathedral in London there will be a vigil from 11am to 5pm. On Saturday there will be a vigil at the Cathedral from 11am-3.30pm, followed by a memorial service for Franz Jegerstatter in the crypt at 4pm.
