Kenyan celebration in north London
A celebration take place at Our Lady Help of Christians, Kentish Town, north London, tomorrow (Saturday) to mark the tenth anniversary of New Ways - a charity which support community, health and education projects in the Turkana Desert, Kenya. Fr Albert Salvans, a Westminster priest who was ordained in Kentish Town, and now works with the project in Kenya will be celebrating Mass at 7pm. Afterwards there will be a presentation by members of the community, followed by a concert and party in the parish hall. Since 1994 New Ways has been working to support health, education, water and agricultural development projects in Africa and South America. The charity's focus is on projects that are sustainable and provide a basis for long-term development
