Westminster celebrates a month of ordinations

 Parish throughout the diocese of Westminster will be welcoming two newly-ordained Priests, a Deacon and three permanent Deacons this month following a series of ordinations. Westminster Cathedral was full to capacity on Saturday afternoon for the ordination of John Elliott and Richard Nesbitt to the priesthood by Cardinal Murphy-O'Connor. In the previous week, the Cardinal ordained another seminarian from Allen Hall. Edward Houghton was ordained Deacon. Two men were ordained to the Permanent Diaconate this month. Kassa Tsegaye was ordained at St Thomas More Parish, Manor House on 9 June by Bishop Bernard Longley. David Palmer was ordained at Sacred Heart Parish Berkhamsted on 16 June by Bishop George Stack. Tito Pereira will be ordained at Our Lady of Lourdes Acton Town Parish on 23 June by Bishop Alan Hopes.
