London: meetings to examine medical ethics from Catholic perspective
The first of a series of meeting organised by the Linacre Ethics Forum takes place in Vaughan House behind Westminster Cathedral) on 30 January at 6.30pm. The evening offers a chance for junior healthcare professionals and students (medics, nurses, pharmacists etc. are welcome!) to explore and discuss Catholic healthcare ethics. A senior practitioner or other expert will give a 30 minute presentation, followed by discussion. The aim will be to understand the Church's teaching, and explore ways in which we can present it sympathetically to patients, colleagues and managers.
