London: special Mass for the Unborn at Farm Street
Comment Email Print
A special Mass for the Unborn will be held at the House Chapel in Mount Street, beside Farm Street Jesuit Church at 7pm on Saturday, 2nd February. The Mass has been written specially for all who have lost a child during pregnancy (for whatever reason, accidental or otherwise) or who have suffered a still-birth or newborn death. 2nd February is the Feast of the Presentation, when Mary and Joseph came to present the infant Christ in the Temple. Not all mothers and fathers have been able to do that - for a whole range of reasons - and this Mass is an opportunity to bring healing and closure to the many painful emotions, perhaps still present years later, which may have been experienced.
