Solihull: Columbans seek part-time Communications Officer


We wish to appoint a self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable Communications Officer to work with the Columban Missionaries in Britain and to support the work of the worldwide Missionary Society of St Columban.

Your role will be to update our new website and other digital channels, to generate and commission content, including photos and video, and to facilitate increased engagement in Columban mission. This position is both challenging and rewarding and to succeed, you'll need to be adaptable, well-organised and have the ability to prioritise your workload.

Based in the Columban Mission Office at St Columban's in Solihull, the role will develop and expand Columban communications in Britain, bringing the witness and experience of Columban missionaries to new people and new communities with empathy for our values and vision.

Salary: £25,295 to £29,636 per annum pro rata (actual pay range £15,177 to £17,782)

Hours of work: 9am to 5pm on three days per week Monday to Friday (incl. some evenings and weekends).

Flexible working arrangements will be considered.
