Yesterday, Pope Francis began his Apostolic Journey to the southern African island nation of Madagascar after three days in Mozambique.
His morning yesterday involved a meeting with civil servants and authorities, a visit to the Monastery of Discalced Carmelites and a meeting with the bishops of Madagascar.
After lunch, Pope Francis visited the tomb of Blessed Victoire Rasoamanarivo before ending the day with an address to young people.
