Celia Brigstocke has died

We've just received this sad message from Kate Macpherson, daughter of Celia Brigstocke.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this email to you.

On Thursday 16th August 2018 Celia Brigstocke, John's niece, the secretary of John Bradburne Memorial Society, passed away at Royal Surrey Hospital.

She had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer a couple of months ago and after 72 hours after a long fight she died of a perforated bowel with her family around her.

We are all heartbroken as a family. She was the most caring mother to the three of us (her daughters), our father Tim has lost his best friend of 50 years and the seven grandchildren will miss their wonderful granny so much.

We will be holding her funeral on Monday 10th September 2018 at 11am at St Joseph Church, Portsmouth Road, Milford, Surrey, GU8 5DU.

Refreshments afterwards at The Inn on the Lake, Ockford Road, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 1RH.

All are welcome.
