Rosary on the Coast - more reports and messages (Yorkshire, Lancashire, Kent, Rome)
More than 400 groups gathered around the UK yesterday to pray the Rosary on the Coast. We've already received several reports here at ICN.
Saltburn
Michael Morrissey writes: Some 60 people gathered at the grotto at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Saltburn-by-Sea, North Yorkshire, to pray the Mysteries of Light for a variety of causes, including life, vocations - and themselves.
The event, which was organised by the Knights of St Columba, was part of a nationwide Rosary on the Coast campaign. Among the crowd was Bishop Terry Drainey, of Middlesbrough, who is recovering from a knee operation last December.
Cups of tea were served at the back of church afterwards.
Cleethorpes
Bishop Patrick McKinney wrote: Thanks to Fr Andrew & everyone at Cleethorpes & to everyone in Boston who were involved in the joint parish & Polish Mission event in support of the 'Rosary on the Coast' initiative. If there were other events in the diocese please do send your photos.
