Trustees wanted to turn lives around at Cardinal Hume Centre

Based in Westminster, the Cardinal Hume Centre enables people to gain the skills and access the support they need to overcome poverty and homelessness. We work with homeless young people, badly housed families and others in acute need including migrants and refugees. With an annual income in the region of £2.8 million, we undertake all our work on one site, with 62 staff and over a 100 volunteers.

The Board of Trustees is looking to recruit new members with a broad range of experience. As well as attending five board meetings a year, you will be expected to join at least one sub-committee, engage with the Centre’s work, support staff in developing key objectives and act as an ambassador in the public arena.

If you are motivated by our founding values based on Catholic Social Teaching, if you have relevant experience, if you are committed to bringing about real change in people’s lives, and have the time and skills to help us flourish in a challenging economic climate...

Please come and join us!

Closing date for applications is October 9th.

For more information on the role and how to apply please visit the Volunteer section of our website or contact the Company Secretary Jane Sandeman or 020 7222 1602.
