Westminster: Good Shepherd and Good Samaritan Masses

Schools from across Westminster diocese joined together at Westminster Cathedral on Friday to show their support for the work of the Catholic Children’s Society.

Thousands of children and young people attended the Good Shepherd and Good Samaritan Masses. The Masses offered a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their fundraising achievements. A record 132 schools supported the Catholic Children’s Society during Lent this year. As part of the Lenten Appeal, children and young people learnt about the poverty that exists in their local area and how the Catholic Children’s Society are working to help families in need.

During the Masses, schools were also thanked for their amazing generosity in raising money for the Catholic Children’s Society’s special Grenfell Tower Crisis Fund.
