London: Latin Mass for Ebola victims
Victims of Ebola and their families and communities will be remembered at a Sung Votive Mass in London on Monday 16 February organised by the Latin Mass Society in solidarity with those affected by the epidemic.
The Mass, ‘in Time of Pestilence’, with Litanies of the Saints, will take place at 6.30pm at Corpus Christi Church, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden.
Latin Mass Society Chairman Joseph Shaw said: “This is an opportunity to pray for the souls of those who have lost their lives and for all those affected, in West Africa and elsewhere.” The Latin Mass Society, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, aims to put on a series of Traditional Masses throughout England and Wales in a move to respond through prayer to world events.
