Glasgow celebrates Patron Saint with week-long festival
The life of St Kentigern - better known as St Mungo, patron saint of Glasgow, is being being celebrated in a festival of song music and dance throughout the city from 9 to 18 January 2014.
St Mungo's Festival which honours the Fife-born monk's work to establish and expand the city of Glasgow around the sixth century, is being celebrated in song, music and dance.
On the Feast of St Mungo, 13 January, Mass will be celebrated at 7pm, by Archbishop Philip Tartaglia and the Chapter of Canons at St Mungo's, Townhead.
