Young Christian Workers training workshop in east London

The Young Christian Workers are holding s training workshop with Bishop Bernard and the Diocesan Agency for Evangelisation in Westminster, this Thursday at 7.30pm at The Guardian Angels, Mile End.

YCW works with a million young people throughout the world, calling teenagers, students and young adults together to discover ways to transform the world in the light of faith. The workshop will provide a framework to help engage teenagers and young adults in practical ways to live their faith. The YCW will provide strategies and resources which will motivate and equip 13-30 year olds to become actively involved in the Church and the wider world.

The YCW recognises that young people are often the best experts in their own lives. It is in their families, their local communities, in their places of work, study or leisure, that they must seek to live their faith, growing as young Christian leaders. The 'toolkit for action' provided by the YCW at the workshop will give you some practical means to help form your young people.

The workshop is open to all, especially young adults and adults interesting in supporting our teenagers.
