Vietnam: nuns protest at plans to turn convent into nightclub
Hundreds of sisters from the Vincent Charity Order have been holding a prayer vigil in Ho Chi Minh City, since March 17, to protest at government plans to demolish their former convent school and build a night club and a hotel on the site.
Although the weather has been gettingf hotter each day, the sisters say they are going to continue their protests throughout Holy Holy Week, unless the local government drop the plans.
