Young adults take theology to the pub
Theology-on-Tap, which started this summer, at the Punch Bowl in Farm Street has turned out to be a great succes
The organisers have already lined up a great group of speakers for the Autumn session and are looking for people who would be able to attend a short preliminary meeting, probably in September, to divide up the tasks that are still to be done.
The next season of Theology-on-Tap will be on: "Faith in Society - what is religion good for anyway?
Dates: 3rd, 10th, 12th, 17th, 24th and 31st October and speakers include CAFOD Director, Chris Bain, Jesuit Communications Director, Ged Clapson and Dr Michael Barnes SJ addressing the question 'What is religion anyway?'
If you are available to help plan this season or to help deliver a session on any of these dates please get in touch with the organisers.
The Mount Street Jesuit Centre offers many activities, with a particular focus on Ignatian Spirituality and adult theological education. The Young Adults Ministry includes First and Third Sunday Masses at Farm Street Church, as well as retreats and reflection opportunities. Working from the Jesuit principle of 'finding God in all things', the organisers of Theology-on-Tap say there's no reason why that should not include a Central London bar.
The T-on-T sessions will start at 7pm with food available; the presentations will last for approximately half-an-hour starting at 7.30pm, after which there will be time for questions and discussions. For further details, call 020 7629 6936 or 020 7495 1673.
