Christian students plan spring gathering
The Student Christian Movement's termly spring gather takes place from Friday 16 - Sunday 18 March at Newman House Catholic Chaplaincy in Birmingham.
The weekend will be the usual mix of planning and discussion, action and theology, worship and workshops. It is open to all SCM members and Friends.
* Join in Bible studies and workshops on topics around freedom and slavery.
* Be challenged by our keynote speaker, feminist theologian Nicola Slee, and her creative approach to the Bible.
* Join in communal worship and prayer.
* Get involved in planning movement magazine, organising our themes and conferences, policy and research work, and devising a new publicity and marketing plan for SCM.
* Have some fun the venue has its own bar, and there may be entertainment on the Saturday evening!
* Meet other SCMers from around the country.
