Millions pray for America
Millions of people across Europe shared a day of prayer today for the victims of the terrorist attacks in America. From Dublin to Moscow - memorial services were held in churches across the continent. In London, Americans and Britons of all denominations prayed at a sombre and emotional service of remembrance at St Paul's Cathedral. More than 2.600 people attended, led by the Archbishops of Canterbury and York and attended by the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Prime Minister Tony Blair and US ambassador William Farish. Outside several thousand packed Ludgate Hill to listen to the service being relayed on loud speakers.
