A spiritual bouquet for Pope John Paul II's Silver Jubilee
The 16th of October 2003 will mark the 25th anniversary of Pope John Paul II's pontificate. To celebrate the Pope's Silver Jubilee, a special website is being launched this week to record all the Masses taking place around the world on that date. Written in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Polish, the site has been devised by the Ryan family in Croydon, South London, to show their appreciation and love for the Pope. Mr Patrick Ryan told ICN: "We want to create a spiritual bouquet. Would it not be wonderful if we could ring the world in prayer on 16th October with Holy Mass starting in Fiji, followed by New Zealand and then each country doing likewise as the sun circles the earth until it sets at the close of day off the west coast of Alaska?"
