Mozambique: Xaverian missionary dies in accident

We have just learnt that Xaverian missionary, Fr Giuseppe (Beppe) Mauri, was killed in a traffic accident in Mozambique last Friday. Fr Beppe was driving to Maputo when his car was involved in a collision with a bus. There are no more details at the moment. Fr Beppe was 52. (He was well known, and much loved by many people in London, where he studied at the Missionary Institute in Mill Hill, in 1997/8.)
