Pope condemns Russian school seige
The Pope has condemned the siege of the Russian school, which resulted in more than 300 deaths, and called for an end to "every type of terrorism". He said in a telegram on Saturday: "Learning of the bloody events and ferocious hostage-taking in north Ossetia, the vile and merciless aggression towards helpless children and families, the Pope sends his most heartfelt sympathy to the Russian people." More 322 people, including 155 children, were killed on Friday in the bloody end to a siege of the school in southern Russia by gunmen, Russian news agency reported on Saturday.
