Letter from Papua New Guinea to Iraq seminarians
Following our story recently about Iraq's only Catholic seminary starting a new term, we received this message from readers in Papua New Guinea. While we are trying to forward the message to the seminary we're publishing it here also as it may inspire others to join in these prayers. Greetings in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, It give us great joy to know that there are some very brave and courageous young Christian men in Iraq who are choosing to serve the Lord by opting to go to the seminary. Even though there is alot of danger out there in their country. They really must have great Trust and Faith in the Lord Jesus. God Bless them and keep them and their beloved families safe from all dangers. Our "Divine Mercy Prayer Group" in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (north of Australia) will remember them in our prayers every Sunday. Our group meet from 2pm-3.05pm each Sunday. We pray for Religious Vocations, especially for Priesthood. We will especially remember them because of the danger and the risk they take to serve the Lord. Yours in Jesus, Mary and Joseph With heartfelt love and prayers from their Papua New Guinean Catholic brothers and sisters.
