Catholic journalist Katie Jaffa has died


Catholic journalist Katie Jaffa, died on 13 March, aged 96.

The former Kitty Mayer was married to Harold Jaffa, a leading Fleet Street editor. She was the oldest member of the Keys Catholic Writers Guild and was still writing at 90.

A member of the Carmelite Third Order, she will be buried in the Carmelite habit..

Her body will be received into St Joseph's Church, Kingston Road, New Malden on Monday, 23 March, with the Office of the Dead, Carmelite Prayers, and the Rosary.

A Requiem Mass for Katie will take place at 10am on Tuesday, 24th March at St Joseph's Church, followed by a prayer service at Aylesford Priory and burial at Aylesford village cemetery.
