Arts: Catholic Underground London
Catholic Underground London is a music and arts event that mixes traditional Catholic worship with contemporary entertainment.
Taking their inspiration from the United States where the event started, the organisers say Catholic Underground London aims to provide "something mirroring the main features of the US version while providing something with a distinctly English flavour".
The first part of the evening consists of Vespers, Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction. The second part of the evening is a social time with entertainment from a number of Christian musicians and performers.
The first Catholic Underground London event is on 28 March at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Balham and will run from approximately 7.30 - 11pm.
There will be three diverse acts in this first event, including one of London's most up and coming Christian rappers, Ejiro; performances by 'Dr Iver' and 'The New Jerusalem Project'.
