Free chocolate exhibition is divine

An exhibition promoting fairtrade chocolate opens at the.gallery@oxo on the Southbank this Thursday.

Divine Chocolate, the Fairtrade company co-owned by Ghanaian cocoa farmers, is ten this year. The exhibition tells its unique story through a collection of striking images which follow the enterprising journey that took Divine from being "a great idea - that could never happen" to an award-winning example of a more equitable trading relationship with smallholder farmers in Africa.

At 3.30pm on Saturday 8 November cocoa farmer Comfort Kumeah will be at the exhibition to speak about A Decade of Divine from her personal perspective as a member of the Kuapa Kokoo cooperative in Ghana.

The exhibition runs from 6-9 November at the Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse Street, South Bank, London, SE1 9PH. Opening times 11am-6pm. Admission Free.
