Coventry granddad on 878 km trek for Zoe's Place
A 72 year-old grandfather from Coventry is currently walking the Camino de Santiago 878 km, to raise funds for Zoe’s Place, a home-from-home for babies and young children who have life limiting or terminal illnesses and special complex needs, offering palliative and respite care.
Peter Martin is a Holy Family parishioner, and a familiar face in many of the surrounding parishes. He set out on hios six week trek on 25 August and plans to reach Santiago by 8 October 2017. Peter trained for several months, walking over 900 miles and done the Malvern Hills 10 times.
