London art retreat: Jacob's Ladder - dreams and spiritual development

As part of the Spiritual Boost Series, at DeMazenod House, by Tower Hill this Saturday, Jacob's Ladder will be exploring different types of dreams, how dreams can be used in spiritual development to help strengthen our understanding of God's plan for us and discerning spiritual communication.

The one day Creativity and Spirituality Retreat given by JudyAnn Masters, an associate of Sr Sheila Gosney who originated the Art and Prayer Retreats. JudyAnn carries on Sr Sheila's work with Fr Oliver Barry at the DeMazenod House, Oblate Retreat Centre. There will be Mass at 3.15pm celebrated by Fr Oliver Barry OMI.

The aim of the day to connect with God creatively and intuitively using prayer, scripture, poetry, prose, music, meditation and contemplation. Participants will be able to express their creativity using collage, watercolours, gouache, pencils, oil pastels, crayons or any other materials.

Participants need to bring a packed lunch. Tea and Coffee provided. Materials are provided and feel free to bring your own.

The day takes place on Saturday 18 February 2017. 10.30am for 11am start - 4pm at DeMazenod House, 62 Chamber St. London E1 7BL Donation: £12.
