Newman House Chaplaincy - 50th Anniversary Lectures

This academic year (2016-17) we celebrate 50 years since the Catholic Chaplaincy moved from St Patrick's Soho Square to its present location at Newman House on Gower Street. It is a time to thank God for the work of university chaplaincy and to ensure that the work can continue and develop further over the next 50 years.

The celebration includes a series of public lectures - the first is this Monday - and a special anniversary weekend. All are welcome.

There are over 400,000 students in London who need the support and presence of the Church. Later in the year we hope to launch our Redevelopment Programme which will include plans for a new church and conference centre to meet the needs of students and academic staff in the 21st century.
