London: carol singers needed

Writer and journalist Joanna Bogle is organising a group to go carol singing for charity in west London this week. Singers and musicians will be meeting on Wednesday, 21 December at Sloane Square tube station at 6pm. They will not be remaining at the station, but will be leaving Sloane Square around 6.10pm to sing in the surrounding streets.

Money raised will go to a boys' home run by Miles Jesu in Bordnicki, Ukraine, and to projects for the elderly here in Britain.

Joanna says: "Please pass this invitation on to anyone who might be interested."

The weather report for that day looks quite wintery - so make sure you wrap up well if you plan to go.
